The Ivy House, Nunhead
Please could the existing entry for the Ivy House be updated to:
Our friendly group of musicians meet every Tuesday evening around 8.30pm in any one of the three bars of The Ivy House on Stuart Road, Nunhead, London SE15 3BE, to play mostly Irish traditional music on fiddles, flutes, pipes, accordions, etc.
All competent players are welcome to join us. We are a tolerant session so we also welcome earnest improvers and even the occasional (well-behaved & competent) guitarist & bodhránist, maxing out at one of each of these.
But not spoons or shaky eggs.
We have provided some of our repertoire on our Tune List – please refer to the page on the link address.
We will take bookings for events such as acoustic gigs and other sessions – please refer to the page on the link address.
The Ivy House, London’s first co-operatively owned pub, has become a pivotal part of the local community of Nunhead and the nearby areas of Peckham, East Dulwich, Honor Oak Park and Crofton Park.
